Our special guest......

On Tuesday the 2nd of June a very special guest came into the West Wing, Can you guess who it was?  NAH I will tell you the very special guest was...

                              SAM DICKSON

Yeah you heard me right SAM DICKSON that famous sevens player!!!

Everyone was very excited. Sam brought two medals that his team won, he brought a gold medal and a silver medal. I don't really remember what he got the gold medal for but the silver was from the common wealth games. He told us interesting facts about his life. He told us about his age (which is 25), where he trains, how his coach encourages them at games, how tense he feels before he plays against other teams and how he got into rugby. He told us that he is going to Rio De Janeiro in Brazil for the 2016 Olympics. He told us that he started playing rugby when he was only 5 years old.

After that we sang for him, We sang Waitaha e, Johnny B Goode, Hareruia and then the boys did the haka.
I would never think that Sam Dickson would come to our school.
